Role Brief:
- Inspect 100% of items as presented by Manufacturing team in First and Final arenas, recording inspection details as per customer / HCI requirements
- Inspect finished products to test wiring harness continuity using Cirris Automated test equipment or other Electrical test equipment as required.
- Use Manufacturing software to log progress reporting back to management where any bottlenecks and concerns appear.
- Use Manufacturing Software to create a stock location and inventory for Test Leads
- Own the tooling calibration library to ensure all tools are within calibration at all times
- Ensure all build paperwork (Work orders and In-process Inspection sheets) for each harness are correctly recorded
- Interface with internal and external customers in a professional and accepted manner putting in containment actions, full analysis, poka-yokes (error proofing), and implementing short-term and long-term countermeasures
- Program and use Cirris Test equipment and other HV test equipment as required
- Calibrate tooling using Crimp Pull Tester to recognised standards
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Report against agreed quality metrics on a weekly basis
- Produce written reports and have the character to present findings in a confident way to empower the team
- Undertake continuous training and development
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
- Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors
- Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks

- Liaise with suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers
- Communicate with personnel at all levels, internally and externally to the Company, in relation to Quality matters
Education / Experience / Attributes required:
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar quality environment, ideally motorsport / automotive / defence
- Use of Cirris Test Equipment
- Use of High Voltage Test Equipment
- Inspection techniques
